ERNEST CARTWRIGHT

Partner & CEO

Ernest Cartwright is an accomplished television executive with a distinguished career of more than thirty years in broadcast and cable television including management, production, syndication, sales, international distribution and operations.  

Past projects include the highly successful 2014 documentary “I KILLED JFK” commemorating the 50th anniversary of the president’s assassination which he Executive Produced along with Barry Katz for Newsmax TV Network. Other career highlights include serving as co-President of Radar Distribution where Cartwright helped launch the court strip “JURY DUTY” with Bruce Cutler as Judge (Variety, August 7, 2007) in broadcast syndication.  He was also Executive Producer of “Good Morning Hawaii”, a first-run series produced for local FOX TV as well as national syndication.

Earlier responsibilities included launching AIM TV’s distribution division as president of AIM Television Distribution (Variety, May 17, 2005). Cartwright also served as Executive Vice President for Byron Allen’s CF Entertainment (Variety, May 7, 2003) where his duties involved domestic and international syndication of CF’s extensive library of first run programs. At CFE, he was also Executive in Charge of Production for two of CFE’s original shows, “Global Business People” and “Every Woman”. Throughout his career, Cartwright has represented several of the most successful syndication television programs for other producers as well as his own productions.

 

 

ROBERT RICCIARDELLI

Partner & COO/CFO

Robert Ricciardelli has over twenty years of corporate finance, consulting and investment banking experience and founded the consulting and private equity firm, RLR Ventures.  He was formerly a Managing Director at the Cedar Lane Entertainment Fund, a media and entertainment investment fund. 

Previous to Cedar Lane he worked for Turnstone Capital (NYC), and before that he spent over six years as an executive at Standard Chartered Bank and ANZ InvestmentBank (NYC), where he was a Manager in the Structured Finance and Project Finance Groups respectively.  At ANZ, he was a Senior Manager in the Media & Telecommunications Group.  He received a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth.



JOSE A. CARRILLO

Head of Production

Jose A. Carrillo got his start in the independent world with films like Some Prefer Cake, Tot Veri, From Here to Salinas and Mona, working his way up from production assistant to Assistant Director and Associate producer. Some years later, having been exposed to numerous international productions, he was hired by the mythical Mexican producer of Superman, Ilya Salkind, to head his Production and Development department at Scent films in Orlando. While in this post, he had the opportunity to work with the Oscar winning director for The Deer Hunter, Michael Cimino; Lethal Weapon helmer Richard Donner; and For your Eyes Only director John Glenn, as well as top writers like David Newman, Rodney Vaccaro, and other recognizable names in Hollywood.

He started his own development company based out Barcelona, Spain called Inedit Films, from which 12 film and 4 television projects were developed, both in English and Spanish. Upon his return to Los Angeles, he started collaborating in production at Estrella Television in Burbank, the largest independent Spanish television network in North America in a dozens of shows like Tengo Talento Mucho Talento, Mi Sueño es Bailar, Estudio 2, as well as other networks like Telemundo, Univision, CNN, etc.

Recently he co-wrote and edited the feature films “I Don’t Speak English” and “El Chapo: The Escape of the Century” and just wrapped the romantic comedy “Everything for Love” where he was the Director of the Photography.

 

 

ED BARUCH

Head of Syndication & Executive Producer

An entertainment business entrepreneur for over 25 years, Ed Baruch has owned his own company, Baruch Television Group and Baruch Entertainment, during which time he has produced, marketed and syndicated over 500 shows and motion picture packages. 

A Washington DC native, Ed had the honor and privilege of producing two shows for the White House, three shows for the Kennedy Center, including an NBC Network special.  He also produced three shows for the Internal Revenue Service for national television syndication.

Baruch has worked with the following companies on nationally syndicated and network shows: BET, CBS/Viacom, Dick Clark Productions, Discovery, ESPN, Fox, NBC Universal, Paramount, PAX/ION Network, PBS, STARZ, The NBA, USA Network and Warner Bros. 

Ed has executive produced and or nationally syndicated several diverse television series such as:  Beta Records TV Show (30 min weekly), Education Superhighway (30 min weekly), Showtime At the Apollo (1 hr. weekly), Ultimate Poker Challenge (1 hr. weekly), and the Genesis Movie Package (14 titles).
